Privacy Policy

Last updated 19 June 2026

The short version: Changes runs on your phone. Your recordings and the charts they produce stay on your device. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else. We don't ask you to create an account, and we don't track you. The only personal information we ever receive is an email address you choose to give us to join the beta list.

Changes is an iPhone app from Warren Labs that turns a rough recording of a song into a Nashville Number chart, then a MIDI you can open in Logic Pro. This policy explains what information is involved and how it's handled.

Your audio and your charts

Everything the app does to your music, listening, detecting key and tempo, writing the chart, generating a MIDI export, happens entirely on your device. Your recordings, imported voice memos, and the charts produced from them are never transmitted to Warren Labs, and we have no way to see or access them.

Your projects are stored locally on your iPhone. If you have iCloud backup or iCloud Drive enabled, your device may back that data up to your own Apple iCloud account under Apple's terms. That's between you and Apple, and we're not involved.

No account, no tracking

Changes does not require an account or sign-in to use. The app contains no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we don't build a profile of you or track you across other apps or websites.

The beta list

If you ask to join the beta, through the form on the Changes website or by emailing us, we receive the email address you provide. We use it only to:

  • send you a TestFlight invitation when the beta opens, and
  • send occasional updates directly related to the Changes beta.

We don't sell or rent this address, and we don't use it for unrelated marketing. You can ask us to remove you at any time by emailing jamey@warrenlabs.com.

TestFlight

The beta is distributed through Apple TestFlight. When you accept an invitation and install the beta, your participation and any data Apple collects through TestFlight (such as crash logs and basic usage metrics) are governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Apple may share aggregate, non-identifying TestFlight metrics with us to help improve the app.

Children

Changes is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

As the app moves from beta toward release, this policy may be updated. When it changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes during the beta will also be mentioned in a beta update.
