Getting Changes

Changes is on the App Store, free to download on iPhone and iPad with iOS 27. Pro is an in-app purchase: tap a Pro feature, or Unlock Changes Pro in Settings, and buy it once.

Moving Pro to a new iPhone or iPad

• Install Changes while signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought Pro with.
• If Pro isn't unlocked, tap the gear icon to open Settings, then tap Restore Purchases.
• There's no second charge. You buy Pro once and it stays yours.

Reporting a bug

When something goes wrong, email us with as much of this as you can, since it speeds up a fix:

• What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead.
• Your device and iOS version (Settings → General → About), and your version of Changes (at the bottom of Settings in the app).
• Whether it happens every time or just sometimes.
• If it's about a specific chart, a short description of the recording (instrument, rough key/tempo), no need to send the audio, since it never leaves your phone anyway.

Common questions

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Changes listens and writes the chart entirely on your phone. Nothing is uploaded.

Covers or original songs?

It's built for your own songs. Play or sing it with an instrument, and Changes writes the chart from what it hears. It isn't a cover-detector.

Is my audio uploaded anywhere?

Never. No upload, no account. Your recordings stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do I get my chart into Logic Pro?

Export a MIDI from Changes (a Pro feature) and open it in Logic. Run Analyze to get a Chord Track, then add Session Players that follow your changes.

I joined the beta list. How do I get off it?
